About Bon View Park:
Located at 1010 S. Bon View Avenue. Bon View Park was traded to the City by Kelley-Moore Paint Company for the old sewer disposal site in the 1400 block of S. Campus Avenue in 1967. Approximately two acres of the park have been leased to the little league that houses the Bud Eldridge Field. The addition to the west was purchased and developed with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) assistance in 1971. The Dorothy A. Quesada Community Center was constructed in 2008.
