Comic Book Lecture and Workshop

Artist Javier Hernández, creator of El Muerto and co-founder of the Latino Comics Expo, presents his work and teaches participants how to plan, design and create a short comic book. The workshop will begin with a talk relating to the exhibit Beyond Words and how cartoonists are still using the principles of narrative storytelling. Materials will be provided. Free admission.
