Welcome to the Ontario City Library’s Summer Reading Challenge!
Reading inspires lifelong learning and we want to keep adults, teens, children and babies engaged in reading throughout their lives.
We use an online service, Beanstack, where you can register for our reading programs, log the time you spend reading, explore curated book lists and recommendations, earn virtual badges for completing activities and earn prizes.
About the Summer Reading Program
You are never too old or too young to develop a love for reading. Reading magazines, eBooks, listening to audiobooks, or doing any of those things aloud as a family all count as a part of our program. Register today and help us reach our goal of 3,500 readers!
How it works
- Register for an account here
- Read at least one hour per week
- Log your minutes and activities on our website
- Visit the library once a week to collect your prize
Beanstack is an online service provided to you by the Ontario City Library that offers an innovative new way to connect you with books and educational reading activities that match each person’s interests, age and reading level. It also includes book and activity logging, badges and registration for all members of the family under one account. Beanstack is available 24/7 through your computer or mobile device.
