Evening for Educators
Science and History in the Museum’s New Water Conservation Landscape

Learn about exciting tour and workshop opportunities available in connection with the Museum’s new grant funded ($1 Million Urban Greening Grant) water wise garden that highlights the landscape of the Tongva and the foundation of Ontario by the Chaffey brothers. Gallery Guide Training: Ontario Open Art Exhibition

Join the Museum’s team of volunteer Gallery Guides. The Ontario Open Art Exhibition exhibit needs Gallery Guides to engage visitors on Saturday afternoons. Share Your Love for the City of Ontario: Introduction to the Museum Docent Program

Do you want to share your love for the City of Ontario and regional history with our visitors? Join the Museum for the last opportunity to learn about the docent program before training begins later in May. Participate in a tour and brief presentation, hosted by the museum curators and docents. Light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Free Admission. Reservations required. Ontario Open Art Exhibition Reception and Awards Ceremony
Saturday, April 22, 2017 (1 PM to 3 PM)
Remarks begin at 1:30 PM
Join the Museum as we celebrate the fantastic array of artwork by local and regional artists. Juror awards will be presented by board members of the Ontario Museum of History & Art, Associates, the nonprofit support group for the Museum. Juror Danielle Giudici Wallis will discuss her selections and do a walkthrough of the exhibition. Award levels include First, Second and Third Place, and up to 4 Honorable Mentions. Salsa at the Museum

Great Adventure Arts Enrichment Program

Participants will explore local history and art through gallery tours, garden explorations, dance, and individual and collaborative art projects. Participants will showcase their projects for families and friends on Saturday, June 17 (2 PM to 4 PM). Ages 8-12. Lunch will not be provided. Please bring sack lunch. Seating is limited. Highlights from the Collection: All States Picnic

Originally started in 1916, the All States Picnic was held on Euclid Avenue and drew 100,000 people.
