Gallery Guide Training: Día de los Muertos

Join the Museum’s team of volunteer Gallery Guides to help engage visitors on Saturday afternoons in the Día de los Muertos exhibit. High School students and adults are encouraged to attend. Community Altar Workshop

Contribute to the Museum’s community altar dedicated to the everyday heroes of Ontario, as part of the annual Día de los Muertos exhibit. Día de los Muertos Exhibit Reception
Saturday, October 7, 2017 (1 PM to 3 PM)
Celebrate the artists of the annual Día de los Muertos exhibit, showcasing contemporary work in painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, ofrendas (altars) and the winners from the city-wide art contest! Meet the artists, enjoy live entertainment and participate in a drop-in workshop. Free admission. Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Remarks at 1:30 PM. Día de los Muertos Headband Workshop with Stephanie Hibbard

Common Courtesy: A Look at Proper Etiquette from the Graber Olive House

Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Museum Building
Saturday, December 16, 2017 (2:00 PM to 3:30 PM)
Built in 1937 with Works Progress Administration funds, this Mediterranean style building served as City Hall until 1979. Join the Museum for a presentation and behind the scenes tour of the Museum building with Museum Board President pro Tem, Ontario Heritage Board Member and Museum Docent Joe Caskey. Free admission.
