16-Year-Old Dies From Stab Wounds

Detectives are looking into what led up to the double stabbing on Friday night in the 800 block of East Nocta Street.

On Friday, December 1, 2017, at approximately 6:40 pm Officers were sent to a large fight call involving several subjects in the middle of the street.

When officers arrived several people scattered leaving two subjects behind, both suffering from stab wounds.

One victim, a 16 year-old Ontario, resident was air lifted to Loma Linda Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

A second stabbing victim was driven to a local area hospital, his injuries were listed as non-life threatening.

Detectives believe the incident was possibly gang/tagging crew related.

On Saturday, December 2, Gang detectives arrested Fernando Martinez (22), and two 16-year-old juvenile suspects, all from Ontario, for investigation of murder. The suspects were booked at the West Valley Detention Center and San Bernardino County Juvenile Hall for PC 187 murder and are being held on $1,000,000.00 bail.
