Arrest of Murder Suspect Robert Sims

On June 11, 2018 at approximately 10:06pm, Officers were sent to the 900 block of N. Duesenberg regarding an unresponsive woman. Family members of Madis Tolentino (a 48-year-old Ontario resident) found her unresponsive in the residence and immediately called for emergency services.

Ontario Fire Department Paramedics came to the location and determined that Ms. Tolentino was deceased.

The San Bernardino County Coroner’s office was notified. During the initial examination by the coroner’s investigator, there were indications that Ms. Tolentino’s death was not natural. In addition, Ms. Tolentino’s car and boyfriend, Robert Sims, were gone. Ultimately, Sims was identified as the primary suspect in Ms. Tolentino’s death and a $3 million

dollar warrant was issued for his arrest.

On June 12, 2018, Sims was taken into custody in Ogden, Utah by local law enforcement. Efforts are underway to extradite Sims and bring him back to San Bernardino County in order to file formal charges against Sims.
