The Ontario Police Department is looking for teenagers and young adults to join our Ontario Police Explorer program. If you are 14 through 20 years of age, have no felony convictions, are of good moral character, and have a minimum 2.0 GPA, please join us this Thursday, February 2, 2017, at 6:00 PM, outside the front doors of the Ontario Police Department.
There will be an orientation and demonstration session detailing how the Explorer program operates. Those interested in joining the Explorer Program will receive an application. Individuals under 18 years of age are required to bring a parent or guardian.
The Explorer program is a volunteer youth program designed for motivated and service oriented young men and women who have an interest in the law enforcement field. Explorers attend weekly meetings where they receive training in all avenues of law enforcement. The program provides an opportunity for youth to develop their leadership & teamwork skills and to make a difference in their community.
