The Humane Society to Visit the City of Ontario

May 02, 2017

On May 30, 2017 a representative of the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley will visit the Ovitt Family Community Library.  Humane Education Teacher Lynne Hildebrand will instruct attendees on proper care of their pets.  Library patrons will also be introduced to a remarkable service dog whose training includes answering the telephone. Program attendees will learn that the overall goals of the Humane Education program are to teach compassion and respect for all living creatures, to teach proper care of domestic animals, and to protect wildlife and the environment.

This event will begin at 7 PM and end at 8 PM, after which a short period of time will be allowed for questions and answers.  The event is free and open to the public.  The Library is located at 215 E. C Street in Ontario.  For more information please call (909) 395-2205.

The Ontario City Library regularly offers programs that strengthen the community by creating and supporting lifelong reading, learning, and enjoyment. To learn more visit www.ontariocitylibrary.org.
