Murder Suspect Arrested

Ontario Police investigators, working along side the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force, have arrested a suspect in connection with an Ontario homicide. The incident occurred in the 300 block of East Carlton Street, on May 12, 2018.

The suspect, Alex Garcia, was taken into custody on May 24, in San Diego County. Garcia, a 39-year-old resident of Ontario, was arrested for the shooting death of 41-year-old Nino Munoz, also of Ontario.

Shortly after the shooting, Garcia crossed the border into Mexico. He was arrested on the murder warrant when he tried to re-enter California at the San Diego border.

Alex Garcia has been booked on the charge of murder and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center. His bail has been set at $1,000,000.00.
