Ontario City Library Presents Teen Ontario Reads Programming

October 05, 2017

Teens, are you ready for something spooky?  Join the Ontario City Library and read This Dark Endeavor for this year’s Ontario Reads, while celebrating the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein being published.  This Dark Endeavor is the thrilling prequel to the original Frankenstein where Victor Frankenstein is still a teen.  Victor and Konrad are the twin Frankenstein brothers and inseparable until Konrad falls gravely ill.  Desperate to save his brother, Victor goes into the forbidden Dark Library and finds an ancient formula.  Just how far will he go to recreate the Elixir of Life?

Once you read the book, celebrate with special teen only programs like Pizza and a Scary Movie on Tuesday, October 17 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM or S.T.E.A.M. for Teens: Monster Makeover Edition on Thursday, October 26 from 4 PM to 5 PM.  Both events will be held at the Ovitt Family Community Library meeting room and are for ages 13 to 18 only.  Come join in on the fun all September and October long!
