Ontario, CA – The Ontario Police Department is continuing its search for a man who committed lewd acts at Creekside Park yesterday.  

Several juveniles reported seeing the male who had exposed himself while in the park that morning. One juvenile female reported the suspect reached out and physically touched her as she walked by, however he was not exposing himself at that time.  Additional information has been received that the suspect may have committed similar acts at this location in the past.

Ontario Calif. – April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month and Ontario Police Department will be joining law enforcement agencies statewide stopping drivers who violate California’s hands-free cell phone law.

On April 4 and April 19, Ontario Police Department will have additional officers on patrol looking specifically for drivers on their phones.

Last year, Ontario Department issued 508 citations to drivers texting, calling or performing another function on their phone. Distracted driving is dangerous, especially when it involves a cell phone. According to… Read More

Ontario Police are investigating a shooting that led to the death of an 18 year old Ontario man in the area of Rosewood Court and Del Norte Avenue, in the City of Ontario.

Police were called to the scene of the shooting early this morning at approximately 12:17 AM. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim lying on the sidewalk with an apparent gunshot wound. The Ontario Fire

Department arrived on scene, treated and immediately transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
