Get a Library Card

How to Get a Library Card

We're excited to see you take the first steps toward getting a library card! We offer two types of library cards, Library Cards and Easy Access Library Cards. Your library card can be used at both of our library locations.

Library Card

Children, teens, and adults are eligible for a library card. Adults signing up for themselves or signing up a minor must:

  • Provide a valid government-issued photo ID
  • Provide proof of mailing address (can be the address on your ID)
  • Complete a Library Card Application

When you sign up for a library card or sign up a minor for a library card, you assume responsibility for anything checked out on the card. If you change your address, email address, or phone number, please let us know so we can update your account.

Easy Access Library Card

Adults who do not have proof of a mailing address may sign up for an Easy Access Library Card. It will allow you to use the computer stations, access online resources, and checkout up to three books. Easy Access Library Cards are valid for three months. You can upgrade to a Library Card by providing a valid proof of address at any time during that period. When you sign up for an Easy Access Library Card, you assume responsibility for anything checked out on the card.
