Cooling Centers
Find your local Cooling Center!
The City of Ontario will operate Cooling Centers, during business hours, when the ambient air temperature is predicted to be 100°F for two or more consecutive hours, within a two-day period
If the Ovitt Family Community Library is activated as an emergency cooling center on a Sunday or City holiday, when regular library services are unavailable, the lobby area will be open. Visitors will have access to the meeting room (where family-friendly movies are typically shown), public restrooms, and the water bottle filling station.
