The Ontario Youth Activities League (O.Y.A.L.) kicked off the year with Futsal. Participants took part in this fast-paced sport, played with a soccer ball on a hard surface the size of a tennis court. Our next sport will be golf. Don’t worry if you never golfed before, this 7-week session will teach you the fundamentals, skills, and etiquette of golf. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are working hard to keep our community and staff members safe and reviewing best practices for maintaining safety and incorporating new methods for developing activities that employ social distancing. Please stay tuned for our start date!
The second portion of the program includes excursions, these are chosen on a rotational basis to expose participants to multiple categories with an emphasis on Education, Theatre, Aviation, History & Art. Past excursions included Skull Canyon Zip Line, California Science Center, Lewis Family Playhouse and trips to the Toyota Arena to catch professional sports games.
