The City of Ontario will be recognizing the winners of the 2018 Water Conservation Poster Contest (hosted in cooperation with the Chino Basin Water Conservation District) at the City Council meeting on April 3, 2018.

Over 900 entries were received from Ontario students in kindergarten through 5th grade, and two winning posters were chosen from each grade level. The winning students and their families are invited to attend the City Council meeting on April 3, 2018, to receive recognition for their creative contributions to water conservation in the City of Ontario.

On March 28, 2018, the Ontario City Council hosted nearly 1,000 business leaders for its annual State of the City: Business Leadership Symposium.  The event attracted representatives from the business, development, and real estate community from all over Southern California for a world class networking event with the region’s top deal makers.

The City of Ontario partnered with the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) to construct a traffic management center (TMC) within the City’s Emergency Operations Center.  This project accelerates the implementation of traffic signal coordination, ramp metering, and technology enhancement projects, with the objective of improving air quality for the City.

The Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee funding received for this project was utilized for the expansion of the TMC equipment to capture more intersections on the City’s traffic signal… Read More

Help celebrate the City of Ontario’s rich history, art, and culture by becoming a docent at the Ontario Museum of History & Art. In 2017, the Ontario Museum of History & Art introduced a new grant-funded water wise garden and new exhibits that attracted visitors to the Museum. Docents are instrumental in leading tours of these exciting new opportunities at the Museum.
