Ontario Police Officer Michael Gracia was one of the many shooting victims from Las Vegas.

He underwent surgery this morning and is listed in critical but stable condition.

Gracia’s fiancé was also injured during the incident but her injuries were non-life threatening.

Officer Gracia has been a part of the department for many years starting out as a cadet, then working as a jailer and eventually becoming a police officer. He has been an officer for four years.

Beginning Sunday, October 1, and throughout the month of October, Ontario police officers will be wearing their badges highlighted in pink.
 
This is the Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Campaign to promote increased awareness of the disease.
 
It also raises funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and a cure.
 
The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.

Police responding to a medical assist in the 1700 block of East Yale Street, find the resident deceased.

At approximately 5:50pm, police received a call from a resident about a man trapped in a tunnel he was digging.

The 65-year-old Ontario resident was apparently digging for rocks in his own backyard. A resident at the same house

was watching him for a while but then left. When they returned to the backyard they saw that the tunnel had

collapsed. They hurried over to help rescue the man but when they got to him, he was already dead.
