Detectives are gathering information in reference to a possible suicide. Police received a call from the Ontario Mills Mall security in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot. The car had South Carolina license plates and a strong odor was coming from the car.

Detectives are investigating the motive behind what led up to a shooting in the parking lot of a local convenience store. At approximately 2:45pm, police received a call in reference to a shooting that had just occurred in the parking lot of the Stop and Shop, located at 130 N. Benson Ave.

Officers from the Ontario Police Department’s DUI Enforcement Team will be deploying during the week to stop and arrest alcohol and drug-impaired drivers in the department’s ongoing traffic safety campaign. DUI Saturation Patrols will deploy on Thursday, May 5, 2016 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. in areas with high frequencies of DUI collisions and / or arrest.
