Join Dr. Jessica M. Kim, Associate Professor of History at Cal State University Northridge for a presentation of her new book which examines the rise of Los Angeles and the investment of the U.S.-Mexico borderlands. The book explores how Los Angeles grew through urban and imperial capitalism at the end of the nineteenth century and how the Mexican Revolution redefined those same capitalist networks into the twentieth century.
