For Youth and Families

Available Services

Ontario City Library offers programs and services for youth and families including story times, literacy programs, homework help, outreach, teen volunteer opportunities and services to educators.

KinderGo

Join us for KinderGo, a yearly program that promotes literacy by introducing kindergarteners to library cards! Every fall we invite students and their families to KinderFair, where you can explore all the exciting resources we have to offer as your child starts their educational journey.

Our city staff visit kindergarten classrooms in the Ontario-Montclair School District, Mountain View School District, Chino Valley Unified School District and Cucamonga School District. They read an engaging story and provide students with a KinderGo bag, wallet and information on how to get a library card.

Ontario On the Go

Ontario on the Go provides positive, educational, and exciting activities to community members of all ages throughout select locations in our community. Our mobile unit promotes programs designed by the Community Life & Culture Agency through the Ontario Recreation & Community Services Department and Ontario City Library.

We are on the road for afternoons of fun, games and activities! For the full schedule, please visit Recreation & Community Services.

Lewis Library on the Go

Lewis Family Branch Library has teamed up with Ontario on the Go and is on the road for story time, songs, books, and activities! You can find our current schedule of programs listed in Ontario Living Magazine. Look for us at a South Ontario park near you!
