About Nugent's Park

Located one block south of Holt Boulevard on Euclid Avenue.  Donated by Mr. Thomas Nugent for park and recreation purposes on May 10, 1895, Nugent's Park was rededicated on May 10, 1998.  In attendance of the rededication ceremony were Mr. Nugent's great-granddaughter, Frances Rankin, great-great-granddaughter, Susan Adame and his great-great-grandson, Alex Adame.  Nugent's Park is the oldest park in the City.
