About Westwind Park

Located on the north side of Riverside Drive, adjacent to the east side of the Ontario National Golf Course (Whispering Lakes Golf Course).  Westwind Park was constructed in 1998 with the Westwind Community Center building opening up in 1990.  The 28,000 square foot building features a large gymnasium for basketball and volleyball, a game room with billiards, foosball, ping pong tables and a multi-purpose meeting room.  Outside the building, a 2,400 square foot swimming pool was added.  The park offers pedestrian/bike paths and sports fields.  Westwind Park was the single largest park project to be completely developed at one time in the history of Ontario.  The construction cost was funded by Federal, State and City funds.
