Ontario Resident Academy

The Ontario Resident Academy was established with the objective of promoting transparency and fostering stronger communication between the City and its residents. By educating participants on the day-to-day operations of the City, the structure of local government, and the future vision for Ontario, the Academy aims to cultivate informed and engaged community members.
Next Session: Spring 2025
The Spring 2025 session will be held every Thursday starting Thursday, May 1 to Thursday, June 5 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. These weekly sessions will be held at City Hall, 303 East B Street. Ontario, CA 91764.
Applications
Applications for the Spring 2025 Resident Academy closed on March 31, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant must be a resident of Ontario.
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
- Applicant must commit to attending all scheduled sessions.
Limited Space & Commitment
Due to the limited space in each academy class, participants must be able to commit to attending each week within the 6-week program. Participants cannot select certain classes in the program to attend.
