ForensicsThe Forensic Services Division consists of a highly trained and dedicated team of professionals who have the important responsibility of using scientifically valid methods to locate, document and interpret physical evidence in an objective and unbiased manner. Property and EvidenceThe Property & Evidence Division takes in well over 8,000 items annually and maintains an inventory of over 55,000 items. This Division is responsible for maintaining the integrity and chain of custody of all items designated as evidence, found property, or stored as safekeeping. Real Time Information Center (RTIC)The Real Time Information Center (RTIC) is the Ontario Police Department’s newest division, aimed at utilizing technology for improved police response.
