On the Dance Floor: Line Dancing!

Put on your dance shoes and join us for an evening dance class of line dancing! All levels of dance experience are welcome and participants are encouraged to dress up! 10th Biennial Ontario Open Art Exhibit Reception and Awards Ceremony

Saturday, April 13, 2019 (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM)
Join us as we celebrate the fantastic array of artwork by local and regional artists. Juror awards will be presented by board members of the Ontario Museum of History & Art, Associates, the nonprofit support group for the Museum. The juror will discuss selections and do a walkthrough of the exhibit. Award levels include First, Second and Third Place, and up to 4 Honorable Mentions. Ontario Arts & Culture Recognition Awards: Celebrating Regional Impact

Please join us in bringing arts and culture alive in our community and region. This inaugural award ceremony organized by the Ontario Museum of History & Art, Associates celebrates civic leadership in the arts and culture of Ontario and the surrounding area. Museum Explorers: Celebrate Earth Day!
Saturday, April 27, 2019 (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM)
Explore the Museum’s Water Conservation Landscape with a paper flower workshop with artist Linda Smith (1:00p to 4:00p), a guided tour of the garden (2:00p) and a workshop: Growing Native with the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District (2:30p). Growing Native is a hands-on workshop where participants will plant seeds and learn how to care for them. Families are encouraged to attend with children ages 5 and up. Materials will be provided. Chaffey High School Exhibit Reception: Eye on Ontario

Paint an Epic Space Character: May the 4th the With You!

Training: Become a Garden Tour Guide!

Do you have an enthusiasm for nature and history that you would like to share with others? If so, become a Garden Tour Guide. Tour Guides are the Museum’s personal links to visitors and they play a crucial role in educating visitors about the importance of plants, nature and the history of the Museum. Participate in half day training conducted in English or Spanish. Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Materials will be provided. Reservations required. Great Adventure Enrichment Program: Summer Edition
Monday, June 24, 2019 (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
Wednesday, June 26, 2019 (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
Friday, June 28, 2019 (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM)
Participants will explore art and science through gallery tours, walking tours, and individual and collaborative art projects. Participants will showcase their projects with an exhibit for families and friends on Friday, June 28, 2019 (4:00 PM to 4:30 PM). Lunch will not be provided. Please bring a sack lunch for each date. Space is limited. Participants are required to attend all three sessions. Reservation and application are required.
