Boost Your Reading Skills at Ontario City Library

ONTARIO, Calif. – Rise up and read at Ontario City Library! Rise, the library’s literacy service, provides free, literacy-based programs for elementary-aged students. Registration is not required. 

Monthly Rise programs for children in grades K – 6 include: 

• Literacy Builders: Construct words and create worlds using building blocks. Perfect for emerging readers and writers. 
• Rising Writers: Practice creative writing skills each month and receive friendly feedback to help you grow as a writer.
• Word Warriors: Compete with friends in a fun, fast-paced reading showdown. 
• Wordplay: Build literacy skills through engaging games and activities.
• Writing for Readers: Explore different genres and styles while practicing writing and reading aloud.
