City of Ontario to celebrate its 3rd annual Exceptional Abilities Pride Fest on July 17

In celebration of Disability Pride Month, the Ontario City Library will host its third annual Exceptional Abilities Pride Fest on Friday, July 17, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Ovitt Family Community Library.

The free community resource fair recognizes and celebrates people with disabilities while bringing together individuals of all abilities, families, caregivers, advocates and community members for a morning of connection, learning and fun. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore exhibits, discover local resources and participate in interactive activities presented by organizations dedicated to supporting individuals with exceptional abilities and their families.

This year's festival will be the largest to date, featuring more than 20 local organizations offering valuable resources, hands-on activities, educational information and support services. Guests will also enjoy inclusive entertainment, family-friendly experiences, opportunities to connect with community partners and local vendors, creating a welcoming and empowering atmosphere for attendees of all ages.

Exceptional Abilities Pride Fest reflects the Ontario City Library's commitment to fostering a more inclusive community by recognizing disability as a valued part of human diversity while promoting awareness, accessibility, acceptance and belonging. The event serves as a reminder that every person deserves the opportunity to be seen, celebrated and supported.
