UPDATE: Hellman Incident (Kimberly-Clark Warehouse Fire)
- The trucks have been safely removed and the walls fully taken down, according to the schedule.
- Jackhammering of the walls (that are on the ground now) and foundation began today; this will last approx. 2 weeks.
- The next round of noise is breaking up the concrete slabs and paving using a ‘stomper’. The start time is TBD depending on debris hauling schedule.
- The breaking up of concrete will last approx. 4 weeks, likely the stomping will begin after the jackhammering is completed.

Previous Update
Beginning June 1, demolition of the exterior concrete walls is scheduled to start on-site. Residents and nearby businesses should expect elevated noise levels as crews work to safely separate and remove the concrete wall sections.
This work is anticipated to occur for approximately 12 hours per day over the next two weeks, though the schedule may be adjusted as work progresses.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as the property owner and the City work together to address site conditions as safely and efficiently as possible.
