What brings a community to life are all the connections that people create and build with each other.  All of the departments and programs within Community Life & Culture help to build that shared community whether it is through sports activities, art exhibits, or children events.

Check out the number of new programs available to Ontario residents.  Have you heard of pickleball?  It combines tennis, badminton and ping-pong! 

Starting Thursday, October 3rd through November 19th visit the History of Dia de los Muertos: Eternal Roots exhibit.  Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) emphasizes the remembrance of past lives and a celebration of the continuity of life. 

We celebrate Our Story at the Ontario Festival of Arts this October 19th from 11 AM to 7 PM.  Visit over 50 artist booths, and enjoy a variety of music and dance.

How about a mentoring program for your kids?   Ontario Youth Activities League (OYAL) and its partners collaborate to offer opportunities for our youth to be good citizens and develop the skills that lead to a healthy lifestyle. The OYAL experience brings together youth under the guidance and positive influence of mentors reinforcing high ethical and moral values.  Check out the upcoming events
