UPDATE: Commercial Fire at the Kimberly-Clark Warehouse

Ontario, CA – The Ontario Police Department is releasing the booking photograph of the suspect arrested in connection with a recent arson investigation. The suspect has been identified as Chamel Abdulkarim, a 29-year-old male resident of Highland, California.

Abdulkarim is currently in custody at the West Valley Detention Center, where he was booked on charges of felony arson of a structure and aggravated arson. He is being held without bail.

The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges in this case. The complete list of charges will be released by their office.

Investigators are aware of a video circulating on social media that may depict elements of the incident. Detectives are actively reviewing and working to authenticate the footage as part of the ongoing investigation.

As part of investigative efforts, detectives served a search warrant at the suspect’s residence in the City of Highland. Evidence collected during the warrant service will be analyzed and may contribute to the progression of the case.
