The Ontario Police Department is investigating a fatal traffic collision involving an on-duty San Bernardino Police Officer. The driver of the vehicle that struck the Officer’s patrol car has been arrested on felony DUI charges. San Bernardino Police Officer, Bryce Hanes, pictured below, was transported to Kaiser Hospital in Fontana where he died from his injuries. Officer Haynes is a 12 year veteran of the San Bernardino Police Department and leaves behind his wife and three children.
