The Ontario Police Department arrested Jorge Munoz for a homicide that occurred at the Coastal Pacific Food Distributors located within the 1500 block of E Mission Boulevard.
On January 21, 2023, at approximately 5:30 PM, officers from the Ontario Police Department responded to Coastal Pacific Food Distributors regarding reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive adult male inside the location. Officers performed life saving measures, until Ontario Fire Department arrived on scene. The victim later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Ontario Fire Department.
The victim’s identity will not be released until notification from the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office is complete.
On January 22, 2023 Jorge Munoz, a 22-year-old male from Riverside, was located and arrested in the city of Jurupa Valley. Munoz has been booked at West Valley Detention Center on the charge of murder.
