INCIDENT: Illegal Firearm Manufacturer Arrested

The Ontario Police Department has arrested suspect Scott Mang in connection to selling, distributing, and manufacturing illegal firearms throughout the Inland Empire.

On March 29, 2023, The Ontario Police Department’s Career Criminal Division served a search warrant at Mang’s residence in the 2500 block of Harmony Hill Drive in the city of Diamond Bar. The search warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation that connected Mang to the distribution and sales of firearms.

The search warrant resulted in the seizure of the following:

-  21 Handguns

-  1 TEC-9

-  1 AR-15

-  1 Shotgun

-  1 Bolt Action Rifle

-  3 Machine Gun Conversion Devices otherwise known as “Glock Switches”

-  3D Printer (used for printing firearm parts).

-  Hundreds of rounds of ammunition

-  Level 3 Plate Carrier with a Gun Belt

-  Various amounts of manufacturing parts and accessories including frames, barrels, slides,

suppressors, etc.

All illegal firearms and manufacturing equipment was seized from the residence and Mang was booked at Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Walnut-Diamond Bar Station on various weapons charges.
