Hundreds of business and community leaders from across Southern California will gather on March 22 for Ontario’s 2023 State of the City, one of the region’s most anticipated annual events of its kind.
Showcasing the Inland Empire’s premier economic, population and cultural center, the Ontario State of the City will highlight current and future business investments and economic development projects, and the critical role they play in supporting a high-quality of life and the delivery of essential City services.
The night begins at 5 p.m. with registration and networking at the Ontario Convention Center. The program itself begins at 6 p.m., with a networking forum immediately following. On-site registration will be available at the Convention Center beginning at 5 p.m. the night of the event.
Three days later, on Saturday, March 25, the City will host a Community Open House, from 1-4 p.m. at Ontario Town Square, 224 N. Euclid Ave. This free outdoor event will highlight and promote City services available to residents with informational booths, displays from our public safety departments, and fun family-friendly activities.

As the region’s economic hub, and home to nearly 180,000 people, we have become a model for what a 21st century city can offer its residents and businesses,” said Paul S. Leon, Mayor of Ontario.
Ontario is the fastest-growing city in the Inland Empire, with projected population growth of nearly 100,000 over the next quarter-century, according to the Southern California Association of Governments.
It also is home to international corporations, a robust small and mid-size business community, a vibrant downtown core and Ontario International Airport, the fastest-growing airport in the United States five years running. Ontario Mills Mall, the Ontario Convention Center and the Toyota Arena attract visitors from all over the world.
