Ontario Proclaims May 21, 2022 as Kids to Parks Day

May 18, 2022

Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May in partnership with the National Park Trust.  The National Park Trust is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to “preserve parks today and create park stewards for tomorrow.”  The day connects kids and families with their local, state, and national parks and public lands through thousands of park events that promote discovery and exploration in the great outdoors.

The Ontario Recreation & Community Services Department will celebrate Kids to Parks Day this Saturday, May 21, 2022, with activities provided at five park locations throughout Ontario.  This program provides a great opportunity for Ontario residents to get outside and create fun family experiences.  Residents are encouraged to visit multiple park locations throughout the City to learn about the City’s park system and enjoy park amenities and services.
