June 10, 2019

On Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, the Ovitt Family Community Library Veterans Resource Center will host a How to Start a Business for Veterans Workshop. The workshop will be held in the main meeting room of the Ovitt Family Community Library, located at 215 E. C Street in Ontario. This grant-funded workshop is presented in partnership with the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center and will cover topics focusing on financing, franchising, the legal forms of organization, and licenses and required permits.

If you are a Veteran who is interested in starting your own business, this workshop will help you learn the steps to start a successful business and the advantages available for Veterans. Both business owners and entrepreneurs are welcome.

How to Start a Business for Veterans is made possible by the Community Conversations with Veterans grant provided by the California Center for the Book and the California Library Association. It is supported in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the California State Librarian.
