Second Suspect Arrested in Colony High School Shooting

The Ontario Police Department has arrested Everett Johnson as the second suspect connected to a shooting that occurred earlier this month at Colony High School.

On October 1, 2022, shortly after 10:45 AM, officers from the Ontario Police Department responded to Colony High School reference the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male with multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. The male was
transported to a local hospital for treatment.

On October 12, 2022, Lawrence Langston of Pasadena was also arrested in connection with the shooting.

As the investigation continued, it is believed Johnson was the second shooter that also shot the victim with a firearm in the school parking lot. Johnson and Langston fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Johnson, a 25-year-old male from Pasadena, was arrested today in the City of Covina. He will be booked at the West Valley Detention Center on the charge of attempted murder. Investigators recovered a firearm while taking Johnson into custody.

No one associated with this incident have any connection with Colony High School or the City of Ontario.
