Summer Symphony Classics Coming to Ontario Ranch

The Ontario Community Life & Culture Agency is excited to bring a free symphonic concert, Summer Symphony Classics, to Celebration Park South (2910 E. Merrill Avenue, Ontario, CA 91761) on Thursday, July 18 at 7 PM.

 

In partnership with the Southland Symphony Orchestra, enjoy a wonderful evening under the stars at Celebration Park South.  Bring your own lawn chair or blanket and listen to popular orchestral pieces for all to enjoy. 

 

The program will include the following movements:

  • Rossini – William Tell Overture Finale
  • Strauss – On the Beautiful Blue Danube
  • Brahms – Hungarian Dance no.5 in G minor
  • Offenbach - Can Can from Orpheus in the Underworld
  • Von Suppe - Light Cavalry Overture
  • Tchaikovsky – Swan Lake, Act II: No.10 Scene (Suite mvt. 1)
  • Bizet – Carmen:– Toreadors/Habanera/Dance Boheme

 

This event is one step in bringing more arts and cultural amenities to the communities in the Ontario Ranch area.  Also participating at this event, staff from the Ontario City Library, Ontario Recreation & Community Services Department and the Ontario Museum of History & Art will be available to discuss city programs, events and services that are available to residents that call Ontario home.
