Suspect Arrested for Attempted Crime Against Child

The Ontario Police Department has arrested a man for attempting to lure a minor child to meet in a public place, to engage in sexual acts.

Manuel Eugenio Huezo-Alvarado, a 52-year-old male, was arrested on February 5, 2022 in the City of Ontario after admitting he attempted to meet a thirteen-year-old female minor, to engage in sexual activity.

Investigators determined Huezo-Alvarado exchanged multiple sexually explicit messages via an online social networking application, named “Meet4U”, with an adult posing as a 13-year-old female. After requesting sexually explicit photos of the “minor”, Huezo-Alvarado traveled to the City of Ontario to meet the “minor” in person.

Instead, Huezo-Alvarado was contacted by police and arrested after he admitted he planned to meet with a 13-year-old child. Huezo-Alvarado was booked at the West Valley Detention Center on charges for attempting to contact a minor with the intent to commit sexual acts.

This investigation revealed Huezo-Alvarado utilized a username “JM” on an online social networking application named “Meet4U” and email address “37MANUALVA @gmail.com”.
