Ready Ontario

ReadyOntario is our framework for your emergency preparedness journey.

This website is intended to provide residents, businesses, and all visitors to the City of Ontario a baseline of resources to be ready for any type of emergency or disaster. From this page you will be directed to a variety of tools to help guide you through the fundamentals of preparedness.

We use the acronym KPI to remember the basic steps for being prepared. We refer to KPI as having a Kit, making a Plan, and being Informed before, during, and after any incident.

Some additional resources to improve your preparedness include programs offered by the Office of Emergency Management (OEM), including the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Basic Academy, LISTOS preparedness program, and CORE Business Resiliency program.

We encourage you to share ReadyOntario with others and help your friends and family get prepared.

ReadyOntario is about empowering everyone to be prepared before an emergency happens - so we can all be ready for when something does occur.
