Ontario Police investigators are seeking the public’s help in an ongoing investigation of a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of West Caroline Court on Saturday, May 25th, 2019.

The victim of the shooting was identified as a 17-year-old recent Montclair High School graduate, who attended a graduation party along with his classmates and friends.

During the party, a shooting occurred where the suspect fired several rounds into the crowd. One of the rounds struck the 17-year-old victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital for his injuries and is in… Read More

Ontario Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of West Caroline Court, in the City of Ontario.

Police were called to the scene of the shooting at a party early this morning at approximately 12:51 AM. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim with an apparent gun shot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival and has not been identified. Investigators are still trying to determine a motive for the shooting.

Ontario, Calif. — May is National Bicycle Safety Month and the Ontario Police Department encourages drivers and bicyclists to share the road safely not just for the month of May, but every month of the year.

“It is not just cars using the road, but also people on bikes, motorcycles, or walking,” Ontario Police Department Deputy Chief Mike Lorenz said. “The road belongs to everyone and we all share responsibility in making sure we all get where we are going safely.”

Ontario, Calif. – From May 20 to June 2, the Ontario Police Department will have additional officers on patrol looking for drivers and passengers who are not buckled up, including drivers who do not secure children in child safety seats. The enforcement effort is part of the national Click It or Ticket campaign focused on increasing seat belt use.

“Seat belts have proven time and time again to be life-savers,” said Ontario Police Department Deputy Chief Mike Lorenz. “Buckling up should be second nature.”
