Detectives are investigating what happened to a man who was found dead inside a refrigerator. The refrigerator had been dumped onto the northbound lane of traffic in the 700 block of South Hope Ave.

Police received a call at approximately 6:00am from a man on his way to work who found the refrigerator dumped onto the street. When he got out to see what was going on, he discovered the dead body partially hanging out of the refrigerator and called the police.

The Ontario Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify two suspects, who have committed multiple armed robberies of Charley’s Philly Steaks located at One Mills Cir, Suite FC07. To date, the most recent robberies of the local eatery took place on Friday, July 7 and Monday, July 10.

On Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 12:50 a.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred when a motorcycle struck a car at Milliken Ave and the I-10 Freeway. The driver of the black GSXR1000 had been going southbound on Milliken Ave, in excess of 100 miles per hours, when he hit the broadside of a 1991 Toyota Corolla who was lawfully turning to enter the freeway. Due to the impact, the motorcyclist was ejected from his motorcycle and he died at the scene. Ontario, CA - Officers from the Ontario Police Department’s DUI Enforcement Team will be deploying this weekend to stop and arrest alcohol and drug-impaired drivers in the Department’s ongoing traffic safety campaign. DUI Saturation Patrols will deploy on Friday, July 14th and Saturday, July 15th, 2017 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. in areas with high frequencies of DUI collisions and/or arrests.
