This Halloween, Ontario Police Department is reminding Halloween partiers that Buzzed Driving Is Drunk Driving. If your Halloween party involves alcohol then you have to make a planto get home without getting behind the wheel.

Ontario detectives are currently working a murder investigation related to a previously reported missing mother, 33-year-old Sally Mityas.

On September 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Ontario Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.  

On Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 6:00 P.M., the Ontario Police Department Explorer Post #350 will be hosting a recruitment and orientation meeting to provide information about the Police Explorer Program.

Ontario’s Mayor and City Council would like to invite members of the community to attend this year’s National Night Out event on Thursday, July 30, 2015.   The festivities will begin with the “Block Party at the Park” at 5:30 PM at the Dorothy A. Quesada Community Center located at 1010 S. Bon View Avenue in Ontario.  

 

Officers from the Ontario Police Department’s DUI Enforcement Team will be deploying this weekend to stop and arrest alcohol and drug-impaired drivers in the Department’s ongoing traffic safety campaign. DUI Saturation Patrols will deploy on Friday, November 20, 2015 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. in areas with high frequencies of DUI collisions and/or arrests.
