Incident: Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Arrest

Ontario, CA – The Ontario Police Department has arrested a subject believed to be involved with possessing and distributing files with Child Sexual Assault Material (CSAM).

On August 2nd, 2021, members of the Ontario / Upland Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Taskforce served a search warrant in the 1500 block of W. E Street. The initial investigation conducted by ICAC Taskforce members, uncovered leads that were used to obtain a search warrant for the residence of Jesus Najera, a 35-year-old male. The search resulted in finding laptop computers and a cellphone containing over 600 videos of suspected Child Sexual Assault Material.

The suspect, Najera, was arrested at his residence and booked at West Valley Detention Center for two felony charges; Possession of CSAM and Possession of over 600 CSAM Images.

This investigation revealed Najera utilized two usernames online; “boyaj95243” and “asidas0jfioxa”. If you or any family members have had any online communication with these usernames please call the OPD/UPD ICAC Taskforce at (909) 408-1729.
