Officers responded to a medical assist at 204 N. Vineyard Avenue (Folk Inn). The call initially came into police dispatch from the hotel staff that found an adult male unresponsive.

The Ontario Fire Department arrived on scene, and pronounced the man deceased. The San Bernardino County Coroner’s office was notified. During the initial examination by the coroner’s investigator, detectives could see no visible signs of injury that might have caused his death. Detectives will have to wait for the Coroner’s autopsy examination in order to establish a cause of death.

Ontario, CA – Ontario Police are investigating an explosion that injured three people at an apartment complex earlier this evening. 

Just after 8:00 PM, Ontario Police and Fire personnel were dispatched to the 1900 block of East Yale Street for a report of an explosion at an apartment. As patrol personnel arrived on scene, they discovered a two-story apartment on fire with multiple people injured. Ontario Fire Fighters acted quickly to extinguish the flames before they could spread to any adjacent structures and provided care for the wounded. … Read More

 Ontario, Calif. – The Ontario Police Department will be conducting a DUI/Driver’s License Checkpoint on April 12th, 2019, at an undisclosed location within the city limits between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. 

DUI Checkpoints like this one are placed in locations based on collision statistics and frequency of DUI arrests. Officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment, with officers checking drivers for proper licensing.

Ontario, CA – The Ontario Police Department is continuing its search for a man who committed lewd acts at Creekside Park yesterday.  

Several juveniles reported seeing the male who had exposed himself while in the park that morning. One juvenile female reported the suspect reached out and physically touched her as she walked by, however he was not exposing himself at that time.  Additional information has been received that the suspect may have committed similar acts at this location in the past.
