Ontario Police Detectives arrested a suspect who is believed to have committed numerous acts of child molestation on a family member.

The suspect, Ernesto Santos, was arrested today in the 1000 block of North Mountain Avenue in the City of Ontario. Santos is a 49-year-old male from the City of Ontario. He has been booked on numerous charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. He is currently being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $500,000 bail.

The City of Ontario is pleased to announce the next citywide yard (garage) sale weekend is August 3, 4, and 5, 2018 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). If rainy conditions exist on that Friday or Saturday, an alternate yard sale may be held on August 10, 11, and 12, 2018 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
